AP - Stunned and astonished by the innovative Madama Butterfly which opened the Metropolitan Opera this fall, I marveled at the showmanship of Peter Gelb, the Met's new general manager. He made it available not only to the well-heeled opera lovers inside, but free to thousands watching and listening from seats outside and in Times Square.
