Album sales down in 2006-Nielsen Soundscan

Reuters - Total U.S. album sales, including unit sales in such varied formats as CDs and digital albums, fell 4.9 pct in 2006, to 588.2 million units, according to music tracker Nielsen SoundScan on Thursday.
