Public TV snubs acclaimed jazz special

Reuters - "Legends of Jazz," the first new national jazz broadcast series in more than 40 years, stumbled out of the gate in 2006 when most Public Broadcast System affiliates relegated the weekly program to late-night and weekend time slots.
